Our Spring Concert is very nearly here, so it’s time for the very last sneak peak of our guest soloists.
It’s a bit of homecoming for our Bass soloist, Ross McInroy. A native Arbroathian who is delighted to be back in his homelands to sing with the Choral Society.
Ross is currently is based in Leeds where he works full-time with Opera North, most recently appearing in their production of Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. As a former Scottish Opera Emerging Artist he has had major roles in many operas and was also a trainee at the National Opera Studio.
Ross began his studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and holds a BMus (Hons) degree from there and has additional qualifications from the Royal College of Music International Opera School, and the Royal Academy of Music.
So, that concludes our prelude to Sunday evening’s concert. I’m sure you’ll agree we’re in for a real musical treat on Sunday. Don’t forget, 7.30pm, St Andrews Church Arbroath. Tickets priced £10 for adults and £3 for children are available on the door.
See you there!
